The Fullerton Firefighter’s Association would like to announce the 7th annual Pinktober fundraiser being held in the month of October. Since its inception, the Fullerton Firefighter’s have raised over $150,000 to aid in Cancer research and awareness. Our slogan this year is “Heroes Come in All Sizes”. We are sponsoring the 2 year old son of one of our own Fullerton Firefighters. All funds raised throughout the month of October will be donated to the Children's Oncology Group to help find a cure for all childhood cancers. The money generated comes from the sales of our PINKtober gear, various events held throughout the month and charitable donations by those wanting to find a cure for this terrible disease. We have men’s, women's and youth t-shirts, Snapback/Adjustable hats, flex-fit hats, beanies, challenge coins, patches, bracelets, decals, and a Firefighter's calendar. All items can be purchased at Fullerton Fire Station 5, on line at www.ffdpinkproject.org , and at all events held throughout the month. Donations can also be collected at the same locations and online. We are again proud to announce our “Pink Wrapped Fire Engine”. This Fire Engine will serve as a rolling tribute to anyone currently battling cancer, anyone who has beaten cancer, or in remembrance of those who lost the battle to cancer. We will be allowing those affected to sign the Pink Fire Engine to show their support with the common goal of life without cancer. With your donations and the purchase of our gear, we will come one step closer to finding a cure for this terrible disease. Cancer affects us all in one way or another. It’s time to come together and find a cure to rid the world of all cancers.
LETS WORK TOGETHER to make that happen. This year the Fullerton Firefighter's truly understand that "Heroes Come in All Sizes"!
